More or Less the Other way...

  • When: Grade 6
  • Location: A Forest, and a Plane to Venezuela
  • People: The Adams Family, an old friend, myself, and The Macaroni Dinosaur

I was in the middle of a clearing in an animated, most likely Anime, forest. The sun was shining and in the middle of this clearing was a giant open dollhouse. Very similar to this picture I found on Google when I typed in 'dollhouse'.
Anyways, this dollhouse though, was in black and white. As was the family inside. But this family has always been grey scale, because it was the ever so famous, Adams Family. I have never been fond of them at all. The show gave me the willies as a child.
I was standing with them in their house playing my red Game Boy Advanced SP, catching Pokemon on Sapphire version. I was walking through tall grass as usual when a wile Pokemon appeared. To my surprise, it was no Pokemon, it was a stegosaurus version of the Kraft Macaroni Dinosaur. It flew out of my screen, standing outside of the dollhouse at fifty feat tall. The Adams Family cowered in fear and ran to the corners of the half open house. The creature, though his size was immense, didn't seem to be a threat. His tongue hung lose from his mouth and he panted and wagged his tail as if he were a puppy. So somehow in my world five deep dream, I pulled a pine tree out of the ground and threw it as far as I could into the forest. As I watched it run away happily Morticia Adams grabbed me by the arm and swiftly ran me out back where we got on their personal airplane. They said that we could escape this monster by flying to Venezuela. So off we flew. I could see out of my window the crestfallen face of a disappointed, cheesy, dinosaur. Who had then realized that we would not be returning. As I glanced down at my Game Boy, a bit upset, I heard a familiar voice. I looked up and saw the face of an old friend that I had considered one of my very best friends all through elementary school. There stood my friend, skin white as snow and a head full thick, black, curly hair. We'll call him Johnny for this. Johnny was dressed like Conan from the anime, Case Closed, and began explaining to me why a food mascot came out of my video game. He sat down in the seat next to me and said, "It's really quite simple..." I waited. I never found out. That was one of my very worst cliffhanger dreams at the time. To this day, I still wonder what Johnny would have said. And I totally would have done it if I could find my Pokemon Sapphire Version. Alas, I will never know.

  1. I remember you telling me about this dream. I wish I had a macaroni dinosaur as a pet. It would be awesome. Too bad you didn't get to hear the secret of the game, maybe if you could find the game again it will come to you.
